Important French chart featuring the harbour of Shanghai during the Chinese Civil War, and representing the French, English and American concessions. Annotations and layouts are added in purple ink, naming some buildings and places and giving the position of the French fleet in the river (the ships "Colmar", "Craonne and Jules-Ferry"). On the back of the map, inscription in pencil, 'croiseur "Jules-Ferry". Guerres de Chine 1923-1925'.

 

Ink stamp of the "Service Hydrographique. Majoration 600%". Very good condition and owner stamp "P. Barbier. Toucy (Yonne)". Annotations in purple ink.
