Description:

A rare three sheet panorama of Hong Kong Harbour in about 1906 taken by Mee Cheung.

 

To the left is the roof of the jail and below Central Market. In the centre the Supreme Court and Dockyard are under construction. To the right is Wanchai and on the hill above the Military Hospital. The harbour is full of ships and Kowloon Peninsula is being developed.

 

Mee Cheung & Co. of Ice House Lane, Hong Kong who executed a contract  for Lloyd's Greater Britain Publishing Company in a manner that gave every satisfaction, are one of the oldest photographic firms in the Colony.
