An early view of Cheung Chau Island. In pencil verso, "Dumb Bell Island".
An unusual photograph of the south side of Cheung Chau looking west. At about this time the population of Cheung Chau was similar to the neighbouring island of Lantau.
Provenance
Acquired from Gerald Godfrey of the famous Hong Kong antique dealers, "Horstmann and Godfrey" in the late 1990s.
