A miniature version of Ortelius's map of Tartary which was first published in 1570.
Latin text verso. From 1577 Philip Galle published in Antwerp a pocket version of Abraham Ortelius' folio atlas. It proved popular and various editions were published in Antwerp, Amsterdam in London.
