Description:
A map of the Islands of the Pacific Ocean. Originally published in 1836 this is a later state c.1850. Hong Kong appears on the south coast of China. On the coast of California, Port Diego, Monterrey and Port S.Francisco appear.
James Wyld was an English geographer who worked in London. He was Geographer to the King and a founder member of the Royal Geographic Society. He produced a number of atlases.
