A fascinating wall map of the continent of South America, with an inset of the Falkland Islands, produced in the late 18th century by the English map makers Laurie and Whittle, 53, Fleet Street, London. It is based on the earlier D'Anville map, with a compilation of all the known scientific knowledge of the South American continent available at the time.
