Description:
Detailed City plan of Shanghai naming the streets and major buildings. The French settlement is defined with few roads to the west. The ancient walled city is named Native City. Pootung shows only a few factories and godowns on the river front.
Published in Tokyo in 1924 by the Japanese Government Railways. There was an earlier state of this plan published in 1915. This plan differs from the 1915 edition because Inset lower right is a detail of the Central District.
