A miniature map of Formosa (Taiwan), Isles de Pong-Hou and part of the coast of China.
One of the 3 maps and plans that appeared in the Jesuit book, "Lettres Edifiantes et Curieuses, Ecrites des Missions Etrangeres, par quelques Missionaires de la Compagnie de Jesus" 1720 and later. The book contained an important early description in French of the Island of Formosa and the Islands of Ponghou.
Sold as a set of 3 maps and plans.
