A map of the Pong-Hou (Penghu) Islands and the south west coast of Formosa (Taiwan).
One of the 3 maps and plans that appeared in the Jesuit book, Lettres Edifiantes et Curieuses, Ecrites des Missions Etrangeres, par quelques Missionaires de la Compagnie de Jesus 1720 and later. The book contained an important early description in French of the Island of Formosa and the Islands of Ponghou.
