Description:
Plan of Hong Kong published for the Peak Hotel at the beginning of the twentieth century. Inset lower right is a view of the Peak Hotel. A detailed map highlighting the Peak Road and the Peak Tramway. Many of the houses on the Peak and upper Mid-Levels are named. The Magistracy on Arbuthnot Road which was built in 1914 appears. The extension of the Central Police Station which was built in 1919 does not appear. Also the Supreme Court on Chater Road is shown which was completed in 1912.
