"Warren Delano Jr. granfather of Franklin Delano Roosevelt was managing partner of Russell & Co. in Hong Kong. He helped found The Shanghai Steam Navigation Co. in 1862 which owned the steamer "Huquong".
The Delano family lived on Caine Road at a house called "Rosehill".
