Afong Hong Kong No. 470. Douglas Castle.
A Pokfulam view from the road approaching Douglas Castle which is on the hill in the middle of the view. To the right is the newly constructed Bethanie. It was built in 1875. by the Paris Foreign Missions Society (Missions Etrangeres de Paris) and was the first sanatorium to be built in Hong Kong.
Douglas Castle was built by the Hong Kong businessman Douglas Lapraik in the 1860s.
