The plan was published in a tourist's guide to Hong Kong c.1930. It covers an area from Wanchai to Causeway Bay.
It Shows the new network of roads, including Lockhart Road and Gloucester Road, after the recently completed Wanchai reclamation which took place in the 1920s
Important locations such as Race Course, Happy Valley and Old Jockey Club Stables are indicated. Kellet Island is shown and the name Causeway Bay appears over the typhoon shelter, where 20 years later Victoria Park would be placed on reclaimed land in the 1950s.
