To Rear Admiral Sir Michael Seymour, K.C.B., &c. &c. &c. This Print Representing that part of the attack by the Boats of the Fleet under his command on the Reserve of the Enemy's Junks in Fatshan Creek, on the 1st June 1857, is respectfully dedicated by the Publishers.

An action of the Second Opium War (1856-60), with the Royal Navy under Commodore Henry Keppel taking on and destroying a Chinese fleet before advancing to capture Canton. A printer's asterisk marks a gig with Captain Leekie, H.M.S. Fury.
